You’ll be active, there’ll be movement but under no circumstances will any sports be played at sports day. Who put a clown in charge of sports day? Viki’s really got herself carried away trying to tick every box of sports day but she’s got it all wrong. Instead of high jump except imaginary ball tossing, the relay batons have been replaced by balloons and she’s even changed the 100 metre to be the world’s slowest race. Oh dear!

Join us for a full sensory journey of big games, silly scenes and uplifting movement to connect with ourselves, our senses, each other and joy. Shaking off those pesky January Blues. We start by connecting as a group, and finding our centre followed by some high energy games with a competitive twist, slowing down to access our subconscious and spontaneity for some improvised silliness then back to the body to try out some new moves.
Celebrate Earth Day with us in an evening of mindful play with games centred around sound, movement and imagination. Expect to create your own soundbath, go on a sensory nature walk, experience the circle of life and more as we create a magical evening full of joy.
Not the big-shoes-squirty-flower-kind of clown, think releasing your unique inner clown, that free, fun, spontaneous and playful part of yourself that copes with life without being concerned about getting it right or being clever. There’ll be play and games galore courtesy of Clowning Facilitator, Laughter Leader and ray of sunshine, Carol Thompson.

We’re delighted to have Eloisa run this very special Creative Chaos in celebration of International Women’s Day. Expect a mix of celebrating female artists, our own creativity with silly games thrown into the mix to get us to really think about what art is. It isn’t all Picasso and hyper realistic portraits, it can be drawing someone using your toes or sticking tape to each other as we play tag. As we get older we lose the creativity we had as a child where we would draw our own portraits with our arms and legs sticking out from our head or the ability to get messy or experimental.
