Held by Kata Armitage of Forgotten Fun. Kata is a transformational and body-oriented coach (with an educational and arts background), having worked with the likes of Google and ASOS to deliver team support and one to one coaching with adults and young adults. Kata’s on a community-driven mission to help people connect more deeply with themselves. Kata discovered a love for dj ing and the deep focus she found in music during lockdown. She is both an ecstatic dance dj and facilitator and loves taking people on an uplifting musical journey.

Expect a holistic play experience where you can have fun whilst also nurturing your nervous system.

In this workshop, Cher will guide you through Flow Dance Meditation a Somatic practice designed to regulate your nervous system. By simply moving like you and dancing to your own beat you will reach the depths of your being, release energetic blockages, and tap into the inherent wisdom of your body.

We’ll create a cozy and welcoming environment, provide all the materials and offer a selection of activities to help you tune into the power of you and what you want.  The collective support of the group is a powerful way to amplify your intentions and we’re just so good at making the process fun and playful.  This workshop offers the perfect space for you to focus on what you want to manifest, whether that is personal growth, your career or relationships.  Where attention goes, energy flows!

Come all ye playful to The Fun Fed’s Xmas Party: our annual festive shindig providing more fun stuff than you can shake a stocking at. With a plethora of games to lay your mitts on and take part in, live Ceilidh band and sparkly crafting tables – the night promises to be a real CHRISTMAS CRACKER (awful, sorry). Please note there will be a CASH ONLY bar and a photographer present.

Creative Chaos is a mix of creativity, with silly activities to get us to really think about what art is. It isn’t all Picasso and hyper realistic portraits, it can be drawing someone using your toes or sticking tape to each other as we play tag. As we get older we lose the creativity we had as a child where we would draw our own portraits with our arms and legs sticking out from our head or the ability to get messy or experimental.

With the Christmas countdown on, expect a smorgasbord of games and silliness to delight the senses. Some Christmas day favourites mixed in with some childhood classics with a competitive twist. Well known and loved tales may take an unexpected twist and turn thanks to the medium of improvised theatre. Expect big energy, pointless prizes, an array of hats and if you roll the dice and play your cards right you might get to meet a Christmas Elf!

Join us for a spellbinding evening of cacao, dance, ritual, and revelry, as we celebrate Samhain/Halloween under the guidance of Cher Brighton.

As the veil between worlds thins, we gather to honour our ancestors, the turning of the seasons, and the mysteries of life and death.

We’ll open with the sacred elixir of cacao then we’ll journey inward and outward—into emotion, movement and the dance that connects us to spirit and self.

Get ready for some SPOOKY SHENANIGANS with Viki Jackson. The queen of halloween and all things play, Viki is conjuring up an evening of spooky games. Expect ghouls and guessing, monsters and movement and spirits and surprises! 

Southern African Dance practice held by Miles Ncube offers an exciting and engaging dance workshop that emphasizes the rich cultural heritage of African dance, song, and rhythm. Miles’s sessions are designed not just for physical movement, but as a holistic approach to personal development. It’s not just about learning dance; it’s about transforming lives through movement, music, and community. Join us to experience the joy and empowerment that comes from engaging with this vibrant cultural heritage.

As with folk songs, the spirit of folk games lives in the oral tradition. They are passed on from human to human, morphing and shape-shifting through the generations and across the lands. They are adapted for different groups, settings, times and cultures. In contract to the capitalist impulse to generate passive income from proprietary rights, these games belong to everyone.

In this workshop we’ll explore design principles and practical processes for playing WITH folk games. We’ll make up some new games which may have never been played before…

Not the big-shoes-squirty-flower-kind of clown, think releasing your unique inner clown, that  free, fun, spontaneous and playful part of yourself that copes with life without being concerned about getting it right or being clever. There’ll be play and games galore courtesy of Clowning Facilitator, Laughter Leader and ray of sunshine, Carol Thompson.

Take a trip back in time to the glitzy 1970s with Laura from The Meyer Dancers! Learn funky and fun 70’s dance moves that defined the era, master a mini step by step routine to a disco classic & get confident for any dancefloor!

We will finish with a group soul train! No prior experience of dance is needed. Just a love of the retro eras!

Autumn Equinox Joyful Singing Circle is an uplifting workshop experience, where participants can drop into the present moment and come together around this special time of year, with the use of group singing, voice activation and co-created music.

We will connect to our inner children through fun warm-ups and improvising and experimenting with vocal sounds. We will learn some songs and rounds and finish with a special soundscape ritual, specifically for the Autumn Equinox.
