Seamas Carey’s Singing Workshop

Seamas Carey’s Singing Workshop is a joyous and anarchic collective singing experience for anyone who wants to use their voice without overthinking it. It’s designed for any environment, age, ability or gender. Whether you sing regularly or haven’t sung in years, there’s something for everyone.

Seamas leads simple warm-ups, ear-worm rounds and surprising song covers that are easy to pick up and a joy to sing. The focus isn’t on polish or perfection, but on joining in, listening to each other and engaging with song, laughter and silliness.

His collective singing workshops are delivered in an informal, infectious and accessible style that gets the most out of people. His style is energising and uplifting with a mischievous rebel charm. He encourages people to connect with their voices, the other people around them and to take themselves less seriously.

Seamas Carey is an internationally award-winning performer, composer, multi-instrumentalist and choir leader from Cornwall, UK. He spent six years running Cornwall’s first alternative male voice choir (Men Are Singing) and has sung all over the world with his solo work, various theatre companies and The Spooky Men’s Chorale. His work is often humorous, interactive, musical and made in collaboration with communities.

Seamas Carey’s Singing Workshop is for people who want to sing — loudly, imperfectly and together.

🤩 Testimonials For The Fun Fed 🤩

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “A wonderful place to play and laugh, no matter what workshop it is. The people who go are so much fun and I love the social aspect of going for a drink afterwards and feeling part of a community. A wonderful thing to exist in a city where it’s hard to build real connections.” Claudia Colvin

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “I absolutely loved the energy during the workshop, I went to the African dance event and it was amazing – lots of fun and friendly people!” Maria Cynkier

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Everyone in London needs a dose of The Fun Fed! The best well-being experience ever. We all need time out to be playful, try something, be with friends and meet new ones. I truly loved my session with ‘just go for it’ people. Come on! What ya waitin’ for???” Yvette Staelens
