The Singing Ceilidh with Phoebe Martha

Embodied singing & community dancing with heaps of creativity and silliness.

The singing ceilidh is a new workshop that combines multitudes of all things singing and dancing. It will take you on a journey from individual vocal and body movement exploration, coming together with musical games from Brazil that will create connections and silliness. We will sing bangers in joyful harmony, sing circle songs which satisfyingly lock in together and learn Ceilidh dances that will get you hopping.

About Phoebe

Phoebe Martha is a vocal artist, composer & facilitator who loves singing and moving together in all forms. She has delved deep into the art of Vocal Improvisation over the past 6 years, which has taken her all over the world to learn, perform and discover more. She sings with European Vocal Improv group Oöm, London based story and vocal improv project Pascol, & is part of the UK Vocal Improv Collective who put on events and festivals such as Gathering Song 2027.

Phoebe loves facilitating and has led numerous choirs, creative music projects, courses and retreats as well as Ceilidh’s. Phoebe is fascinated in how vocal improv and musical games have affected her relationship to herself, which has then ricochetted into her relationships and way of being in the world. It has literally blown her mind in a way that she can’t not share it.

🤩 Testimonials For The Fun Fed 🤩

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “A wonderful place to play and laugh, no matter what workshop it is. The people who go are so much fun and I love the social aspect of going for a drink afterwards and feeling part of a community. A wonderful thing to exist in a city where it’s hard to build real connections.” Claudia Colvin

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “I absolutely loved the energy during the workshop, I went to the African dance event and it was amazing – lots of fun and friendly people!” Maria Cynkier

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Everyone in London needs a dose of The Fun Fed! The best well-being experience ever. We all need time out to be playful, try something, be with friends and meet new ones. I truly loved my session with ‘just go for it’ people. Come on! What ya waitin’ for???” Yvette Staelens
