Story Magic and Songs with Jen Ray

Here is your invitation to slip into the imaginal world.

A beautiful old woman sits in her rocking chair in a small stone cottage in the depths of a vast, forest. The hearth fire roars like the glow in her heart. She rocks. And she waits. She can sense his slow approach through the trees…

Join us to hear a tale about being lost in the deep dark forest…and finding our way back to the warmth and light.

We will dive from here into the psyche with story games and tap into the streams of creativity within us that are longing to leap free.

Beautiful, simple songs will be taught by ear which resonate with the spirit of Imbolc and this mythic tale. (No singing experience necessary.)

Jen is a storyteller, song leader, researcher and speech and language therapist. She has held a deep love for fairytales, myths and magic since childhood.

Jen trained with the International School of Storytelling based at Emerson College in Sussex and has spun tales in cosy pubs, sacred circles, woodland groves and at her own storytelling night, Little Altars, in Walthamstow, East London.
